We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Mews Apartments in Durham, NC, a community of 352 apartment homes. Requirements

Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience
HVAC expertise, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining systems and heat pumps
Well-rounded general maintenance skills (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, etc.)
Proactive problem-solver with strong initiative
Collaborative team player who works well in a skilled crew environment
Technologically proficient, comfortable using MS Office 365 and a personal mobile device
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
A professional who values integrity and long-term employment commitment
Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

EPA Certification for refrigerant handling (preferred — willing to certify you!)

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems and heat pumps
Performing general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
Handling on-call duties as assigned
Utilizing MS Office 365 and a personal mobile device for job-related tasks
Collaborating effectively within a skilled crew environment
