About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing production machines and facility equipment. They ensure operations run smoothly and safely by performing a variety of skilled mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tasks.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED with completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 4 years in manufacturing maintenance, with proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Experience with PLCs and HVAC preferred.
Read, Write, and Speak English
Technical proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems.
Ethical conduct and adherence to safety protocols.
Strong communication skills.
Results-driven with a proactive approach to maintenance problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
Experience with vacuum furnaces or boilers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and facility equipment.
Conduct emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.
Perform mechanical duties including machining, welding, and using hand/power tools.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
Diagnose issues, replace parts, and make adjustments to ensure equipment efficiency.
Perform preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.
Maintain plumbing and carpentry systems as needed.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
Coordinate with external technicians for complex repairs.
Document maintenance activities and communicate with supervisors on equipment status.
