About The Position

This is a full-time Engineering Tech II position with a work schedule of Sunday - Wednesday, 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM. The role involves performing all phases of general maintenance work, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC. The position also requires acting as a security guard as needed and the ability to lift heavy objects. This is a safety-sensitive position, meaning impaired performance could result in harm to self or others. Employment is excluded for individuals actively engaged in the use of medical marijuana.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Arkansas HPBL, or the ability to obtain.
• Skilled knowledge of plumbing, electricity, construction (carpentry), pneumatics and HVAC equipment and systems.
• Ability to read and blue prints.
• Ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to talk or hear.
• Ability to stand.
• Ability to walk.
• Ability to sit.
• Ability to climb or balance.
• Ability to stoop.
• Ability to kneel.
• Ability to crouch or crawl.
• Ability to taste or smell.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of general maintenance work (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Communicate effectively (oral and written).
• Act as a security guard as needed.
• Lift heavy objects.
• Assume rotating shifts after initial orientation period.
• Take oral and written instruction.
• Work as a self-starter.
