Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with rotating mechanical equipment.
Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Ability to accurately follow procedures.
Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
Ability to comply with company, state, and federal safety regulations.
Ability to climb ladders, lift at least 50 pounds, perform elevated work, and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform emergency, repair, and preventative maintenance on rotating mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, agitators, vacuum pumps, and blowers.
Perform equipment lubrication as required.
Read blueprints, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
Plan and schedule work by coordinating with other maintenance technicians.
Enter completed work orders into the SAP system.
Maintain department and plant safety performance.
Follow federal, state, corporate, and plant environmental standards.
Stock spare parts as needed.
Participate in required safety and technical training.
Participate in call-ins, weekend duty, and overtime as assigned.
