About The Position

Maintenance Technician ensures the installation, repair and preventive maintenance of equipment used throughout the plant/facility. Oversees maintenance of processes in order to reduce mechanical downtime and keep product flows and production lines running at maximum efficiency.

• Adherence to quality assurance standards and specifications
• Scheduling maintenance activities
• Creating, approving, processing, tracking and distributing work orders
• Managing preventive maintenance programs
• Identifying and resolving maintenance problems
• Managing maintenance spare parts inventory
• Driving maintenance key performance indicators

Responsibilities

• Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a higher level of safety
• Ensure the department's activities remain or exceed the standards and specifications established by quality assurance team
• Schedule maintenance activities with hourly production supervisors
• Create, approve, process, track and distribute work orders
• Manage preventive maintenance program with Plant Manager
• Identify and resolve maintenance problems associated with production process and equipment
• Manage the maintenance spare parts inventory
• Drive maintenance key performance indicators
• Other duties as assigned
