You'll respond to both routine maintenance needs and emergency situations with professionalism and efficiency, working collaboratively with our team to keep our facility in top condition. Requirements

  • Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Proficiency with two-way radio communication systems
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Willingness to respond to emergency calls and work flexible hours when needed
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new systems and equipment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Prior maintenance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications required for the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and cooling towers
  • Install, service, and repair electrical systems, conduit, and wiring throughout the facility
  • Install and repair plumbing systems, including drain clearing and water line maintenance
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations such as power outages, gas leaks, water leaks, and fire-related issues
  • Repair and install equipment including lighting fixtures, ballasts, motor control gear, and high-voltage components
  • Perform welding and metal fabrication work as needed for facility repairs and installations
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to identify potential issues before they become problems
  • Operate and maintain two-way radio communication systems for coordination and emergency response
  • Safely and effectively use hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs completed, and equipment conditions in a clear and organized manner
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure facility needs are met efficiently
