About The Position

Foundations Minnesota is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing and organizing the physical operations of the Intensive Outpatient facilities including facility maintenance, basic equipment repair and grounds keeping, while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes, standards of government and regulatory agencies. The Technician is also responsible for overseeing the proper maintenance of the PHP house. It may be required of the Facilities Maintenance Technician to assist in large projects regarding obtaining bids and quotes from vendors. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position located at our Eden Prairie location. Requirements

  • Trade school degree preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with basic plumbing and electrical systems, heating and air conditioning systems, and general building maintenance.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure goals and time frames are met.
  • Ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters and know when to outsource matters beyond one’s scope.
  • Ability to provide Pride clients with appropriate compassionate care while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Ability to protect and maintain confidential facility, staff and client information.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with all facility annual competencies.
  • Must be able to pass/clear the MN DHS Background Study and pass a UA drug test.
