About The Position

This is a hands-on, full-time position responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, minor repairs, and upkeep of our warehouse and office facilities, grounds, and equipment. No two days look exactly the same; if you enjoy variety and take pride in keeping things running smoothly, this could be a great fit. The role involves performing routine facility inspections, addressing maintenance needs proactively, completing work orders, and maintaining tools and supply inventory. Safety regulations and company policies must be followed. The position also includes light electrical tasks such as replacing lighting fixtures and troubleshooting basic electrical issues, light HVAC maintenance like filter changes and inspections, and equipment maintenance for items such as bundlers, dock plates, and dock doors. Groundskeeping duties include maintaining exterior appearance, litter cleanup, monitoring pest activity, and inspecting drainage and parking lot surfaces. Additionally, the role involves painting and drywall repair for interior and exterior surfaces. Occasional on-call availability is required.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in facilities or building maintenance.
Experience in light electrical, light HVAC, or both.
Hands-on experience with painting, drywall repair, and grounds maintenance.
Able to operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment.
Comfortable in both warehouse and office environments.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable standing, bending, and climbing ladders.
Endure prolonged standing and walking in fluctuating temperatures.
Available for occasional on call.
Valid driver's license.
Must pass Drug and background check.

Responsibilities

Perform routine facility inspections and address maintenance needs proactively.
Complete work orders in a timely manner.
Maintain tools and supply inventory; coordinate with vendors as needed.
Follow safety regulations and company policies.
Replace lighting fixtures, ballasts, bulbs, and outlet covers.
Troubleshoot basic electrical issues; escalate to licensed electricians when needed.
Support low voltage wiring installation for signage and fixtures.
Perform routine HVAC maintenance including filter changes and belt inspections.
Monitor heating and cooling systems; escalate issues to licensed HVAC technicians when needed.
Assist with seasonal startup/shutdown of HVAC equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment and facility systems.
Maintain and repair bundlers, dock plates, dock doors, and miscellaneous warehouse and office equipment upkeep.
Refer repairs as needed to the Ops Manager and/or appropriate vendors.
Maintain exterior appearance: litter cleanup, upkeep the designated smoking area, monitor pest activity, conduct tree risk assessments; escalate issues to property management when needed.
Inspect drainage, parking lot surfaces, and exterior lighting.
Patch, repair, and finish drywall in office and warehouse spaces.
Paint interior and exterior surfaces to maintain a clean, professional appearance.
Prep surfaces and ensure quality finishes.
