About The Position

Richdale Apartments is seeking a dedicated and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our 4 locations in the areas of Minneapolis. Our maintenance professionals are a valued part of our team and are recognized and rewarded for their hard work and commitment. Relocation assistance is available for qualified out-of-state candidates.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with residents, vendors, contractors, and management

Nice To Haves

• HVAC certification preferred
• Boiler license a plus
• Training opportunities available for motivated candidates
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely manner, including, air conditioning HVAC, electrical, plumbing and pool-related repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Identify hazardous conditions and address them immediately
• Deliver communication and notices to residents as needed
• Provide the best quality customer service to our residents
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
• Assist with maintaining property standards during seasonal weather conditions
