About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment to minimize downtime and improve usability. This role involves managing data backups, analyzing recurring issues for prevention, and overseeing construction work within the plant. The technician will also perform load factor and insulated testing on electrical motor equipment, inspect electrical panels and generators, and calibrate instruments. A key aspect of the role is performing preventative maintenance, inspecting equipment for proper operation, making adjustments, logging test readings, and maintaining, repairing, or replacing essential parts. The position requires strict adherence to company guidelines regarding hazardous and non-hazardous waste, wastewater, and air emissions, as well as all safety rules.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge in electrical circuit
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Lift up to 50LB
  • Must be an effective learner
  • Must be able to work alone and in teams
  • Must be highly safety-oriented
  • Ability to learn and identify tools and their proper uses.
  • Ability to work under variable environmental conditions within the plant, such as: Temperature instability in sections of the plant, atmospheric conditions; including fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, vapors, or noise.

  • Read electrical drawings
  • Programmable Logic Controller(PLCs) – Allen Bradley
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics troubleshooting
  • Variable frequency drives (VFDs)
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic and controls
  • Installation work(wire pulling, conduit, termination of wires, and etc)
  • Welding (Arc and TIG)

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and repair production equipment in a timely manner.
  • Reducing down time and usability improvement
  • Manage data back-up cyclically and monitor regarding each individual process.
  • Analyzing repetitive trouble to recurrence prevention.
  • Oversees construction work in the plant.
  • Load factor and insulated testing regarding individual electrical motor equipment.
  • Inspect electrical equipment’s(electrical panel and generator)
  • Calibrate instruments, report, prevent maintenance work.
  • Inspects and checks equipment for proper operating condition, makes necessary adjustments, logs test readings, and maintains, repairs, or replaces all essential equipment parts.
  • Comply with company guidelines in the areas of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, waste water, air emissions and etc…
  • Performs miscellaneous maintenance duties as required.
