We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Decatur, Illinois. Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician is to provide assistance to production crews in mechanical and machine operations, building and facilities and associated equipment.

Requirements

  • Must have three (3) years of tech training or equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to score the minimum required on the corporate maintenance test.

Nice To Haves

  • High School graduate or GED preferred.
  • Vocational technical training in mechanical related field is preferred.
  • Forklift and Crane certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the operation of pneumatics, hydraulics and general mechanics.
  • PM plant equipment mechanically.
  • Be able to use hand tools, welder and cutting torch.
  • Must be able to score the minimum required on the corporate maintenance test.
  • Adhere to Nortrak’s Environmental, Safety and Quality Procedures, Practices and Policies.
  • Follows all LOTO procedures & conducts LOTO as needed.
