Responsible for preventative maintenance, corrective, and emergency repairs of facility equipment. This role involves working safely at all times, maintaining a safe and orderly workspace, performing PM tasks according to CMMS work orders, and accurately logging task and equipment information into the CMMS system. The technician will also complete corrective work tasks, respond to emergency maintenance needs, and identify/implement PM and safety improvements. The position requires participation in training to increase knowledge about customer-affected equipment, receiving and implementing customer feedback, and ensuring excellent Leadec customer-service. A key responsibility is leading efforts in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and elimination of recurring issues, with a priority on critical equipment impacting downtime. The role provides high-level support for breakdowns and repairs of general service production and automated manufacturing equipment, including PLC-controlled systems. The technician will work from mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, ladder logic displays, and pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, with the ability to update as-built drawings. Adherence to and support of EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001, and 9001, is also required.
