About The Position

The Maintenance Technician performs electrical and control-based maintenance on plant machinery, equipment, utilities, and services. The role moves, installs, adjusts, and repairs machines and equipment, including guards and safety appliances, using techniques such as welding, pipefitting, carpentry, electrical work, and painting while observing personnel safety and fire hazards. The position requires planning and carrying out jobs using sketches, blueprints, operating manuals, and on-site inspections, with assistance from a foreman and more skilled mechanics.
