About The Position

The Maintenance Technician role at Reno Ramada involves performing a variety of tasks to ensure the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and operational. This includes carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance, responding to work orders for guest and associate requests, and troubleshooting and repairing minor systems such as electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. The position also requires maintaining pool systems, repairing furniture and fixtures, and performing seasonal landscaping and groundskeeping duties. Requirements

Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required
Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods

Nice To Haves

Hotel maintenance experience preferred
HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
Complete and document guest and associate work orders
Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
