Requirements

• Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic component repair
• Electronic and electrical component repair (relays, switches, motors, position sensing devices, printed circuit boards)
• Troubleshooting and repair of transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures
• Repair of damaged or broken wires or cables
• Testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing malfunctions on electrical and mechanical equipment and machines
• Repair of broken parts
• Setup and operation of metalworking tools (lathe, drill press, grinder)
• Replacement of electric motor bearings
• Rewiring motors

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair or replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment including robot
• Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic and electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, position sensing devices and printed circuit boards
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replacing damaged or broken wires or cables
• Work with team members to test, troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions on electrical and mechanical equipment and machines, and test operation following repair
• Repair broken parts including setting up and operating metalworking tools such as lathe, drill press or grinder
• Replace electric motor bearings and rewiring motors
