About The Position
The Maintenance Technician maintains all facilities and equipment to promote efficient operations with respect to safety, quality, and sanitation. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment, planning and executing maintenance projects, welding, fabricating, and installing pipe, changing motors, and reporting food safety and quality issues. The technician will also be responsible for reading, understanding, and using blueprints, brochures, and equipment manuals, along with performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Multi-craft experience (2-5 years preferred)
- Some electrical experience
- Ability to work at heights, in all weather conditions, and regularly perform strenuous labor
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair the facility’s mechanical equipment
- Plan, lay out, and complete maintenance projects
- Weld, fabricate, thread and install pipe, and change motors
- Report all food safety and quality issues
- Read, understand, and effectively use blueprints, brochures, and equipment manuals
