About The Position

Brayman Construction Corporation & Affiliates is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Machine & Facilities Maintenance team in Saxonburg, PA. This is a hands-on position supporting the day-to-day operation and upkeep of our manufacturing and service facilities. The ideal candidate has experience troubleshooting electrical systems, repairing equipment, performing building maintenance, and keeping a facility running safely and efficiently. This role involves working on a variety of projects, requiring dependability, mechanical aptitude, safety consciousness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, facilities maintenance, or a related skilled trade
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical systems and troubleshooting
  • General mechanical and building maintenance experience
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Basic computer and smartphone skills
  • Ability to read service information and use electronic diagnostic tools
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with limited supervision
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and perform electrical maintenance and repairs
  • Complete mechanical repairs and routine equipment maintenance
  • Operate facility and shop equipment safely and responsibly
  • Perform preventive maintenance to help keep machinery and equipment operating reliably
  • Maintain equipment located throughout company facilities and grounds
  • Handle general facility repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Assist with building maintenance projects, including painting, staining, drywall patching, and related work
  • Help identify maintenance issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
  • Use computers, smartphones, and diagnostic resources to research equipment and service information
  • Complete work orders, maintenance documentation, and time entries
  • Work both independently and alongside other members of the maintenance team
  • Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment
