About The Position

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will maintain small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role is part of Engineering and Technical Services and provides support, preventive maintenance, and repairs for equipment and systems. The position carries out defined duties and tasks under close supervision and guidance, using established procedures to address straightforward problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma and 1–2 years of job-related experience; a combination of experience and education may be considered instead of a diploma.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting or carrying loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and use available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate straightforward information clearly and concisely.
• Complete assigned duties and tasks by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
