About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Indy North facility, working the 2nd shift. This full-time, permanent position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package. The role involves conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Requirements
- 2+ years of proven experience in a facilities maintenance position, within a distribution environment
- Prior knowledge of electrical systems, compressor systems, conveyor systems and components, packing systems, Shanklin wrappers, and dock equipment
- Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
Responsibilities
- Conduct PM of facility and equipment to identify potential problems
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for compliance and operational improvement
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and foster a culture of safety within the team
- Oversee vendor relationships, work orders, and quality
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
