About The Position

The Role: You will operate state-of-the-art printing presses to deliver high-quality printing and finishing services for film, paper, and specialty materials. Working alongside 160 employee-owners in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while serving essential markets including food, consumer goods, industrial, and healthcare. Schedule: Monday- Friday; Days

Requirements

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license
  • Some form of CMMS, inventory software experience, auto parts store or any parts stocking, or any relatable experience required
  • Detailed oriented
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of plastic extrusion experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of warehouse/storage layout considered a plus
  • Auto motion experience is a plus (Servo, Steppers, Drive, etc.)
  • Sound and problematic decision making
  • 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Previous manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Performs duties in a manner that adheres to safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and good housekeeping conditions
  • Ensuring that all paperwork is completed properly and accurately
  • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical processes and controls as assigned
  • Assembling and installing new production equipment, making mechanical repairs, and electrical repairs. (Replace motors, drives, fuses, etc.)
  • Completing preventative maintenance tasks
  • Performing roll changes as dictated by the production schedule
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints/schematics as they relate to electrical and mechanical requirements
  • Operating electrical and mechanical test equipment
  • Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workers
