About The Position

Key Point Health Services is a leading nonprofit agency serving people with behavioral healthcare needs in the Greater Baltimore area. We provide comprehensive community-based services that help people thrive while realizing and choosing their goals. We provide opportunities, support and integration within our community. Among the programs and services we provide are Outpatient Mental Health Centers, Adult and Child Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs, School-Based Therapy, Community Outreach, and Residential Services. We are currently looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. Primarily stations in Dundalk/Catonsville/Glen Burnie area. On call rotation includes entire agency.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of construction, tools, and general property maintenance
Ability to work independently or as a team depending on the job
Excellent communication skills with supervisor, team, and other employees in the agency
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid and active driver's license (point restrictions apply)
Pass a criminal background and drug screen
Education verification

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair residential and commercial properties throughout the agency
Troubleshoot and fix faulty electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other commercial or residential issues
Perform general upkeep of buildings and properties including, but not limited to: drywall, roofs, windows, doors, floors, paint and grounds maintenance
Troubleshoot basic vehicle repairs including patching tires, replacing windshield wipers, changing batteries
Assemble, move, and repair furniture as needed in residential properties
Communicate with supervisor on status and completion of jobs
Responsible for recognizing when a job is above their skill level and requires the expertise of electricians; carpenters; heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers; and plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.
Drive between all Key Point sites (Cecil County, Harford County, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County)
