This position is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all rolling stock, machinery, equipment, and the interior and exterior of the facility. The role involves troubleshooting technical problems, performing repairs on material handling equipment and building structures, and conducting preventive maintenance. Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent (GED).
Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance or related field is required.
A minimum of 3 years of related experience is required.
Prior experience performing repairs and preventative maintenance on powered industrial equipment such as material handling equipment and automation systems such as conveyance and sortation systems, PLCs, and other related equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
Ability to demonstrate, with or without an accommodation, the ability to assess equipment and recommend an appropriate course of action.
Ability to interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with an emphasis on the Company’s interests.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all rolling stock, machinery, equipment, and in the facility.
Day to day maintenance and upkeep of the interior and exterior of the facility.
Assess equipment and recommend an appropriate course of action.
Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts.
Maintain and repair powered material handling equipment, pick carousels, conveyors and other automation equipment.
Troubleshoot escalated technical problems and complex mechanical issues including; repairing material handling equipment such as forklifts and warehouse equipment such as picking carousels, conveyors, shrink-wrap machines and inventory racks.
Perform repair and maintenance duties to the interior and exterior building structure including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, framing, roofing, painting, and other general construction.
Perform preventive maintenance of rolling stock and equipment as required.
Observe and promote established safety procedures.
Prioritizes maintenance of red tagged equipment.
Assist in physical inventories as required.
May perform other projects and tasks as assigned.
Provide functional guidance, work direction and training to lower level Maintenance Technicians.
