About The Position

PLZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs at its manufacturing facilities. The position involves maintaining critical production equipment and general facility systems while documenting work through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). The technician must be prepared to respond to urgent maintenance needs, contribute to continuous improvement, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Good communication skills.
• A proactive approach to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and document preventive maintenance and repairs through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Diagnose and resolve issues with pumps, air compressors, boilers, heat exchangers, and agitators.
• Support facility upkeep, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and structural maintenance.
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs.
• Support continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
