As a Maintenance Technician, you will provide high-quality service to residents, joining a team committed to excellence. You will hold yourself to a high set of standards, demonstrate a positive, service-minded demeanor, and successfully manage multiple shifting priorities. Your responsibilities will include the routine maintenance of the physical integrity of the community, ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will be the go-to person to ensure residents are taken care of in the event of an emergency. We are embracing technology, and HVAC Technicians receive work orders on our Maintenance Mobile app. You will be provided a stipend for the use of your personal smartphone to stay connected and process work orders.
Requirements
- 1+ years of related experience
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Commitment to regular attendance (may include weekend and OT hours)
- Ability to be “on-call” for emergencies
- Ability to receive, manage, and close work orders by using smartphone applications
Nice To Haves
- HVAC training and certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to all current and future residents
- Complete resident work orders on a timely basis (24 to 48-hour expectation)
- Broad knowledge of general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Assist with court-ordered “set-outs” when necessary
- Perform unit turnover between residents per company standards (3-5 days)
- Maintain grounds and curb appeal
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Be responsive to on-call emergencies
