About The Position

Join our inaugural team at our brand new, state-of-the-art Distribution Center as a Maintenance Technician. You’ll play a vital role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably. In this hands-on role, you’ll maintain and improve facility systems and material-handling equipment while partnering closely with Operations, Safety, and ICQA teams. Your work will directly impact productivity, safety, and the overall success of our distribution environment.

Requirements

  • Vocational or Technical degree or certification preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance/technician role
  • Preventative Maintenance experience
  • Can effectively troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, batching systems, kitting and pack-down machines, forklifts, pallet jacks, dock equipment, and racking systems
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Maintain building systems, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC filters, doors, and general infrastructure
  • Assist with installation, testing, and startup of new equipment and facility upgrades
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and work orders
  • Follow and uphold OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards in all tasks
  • Identify hazards and recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety
  • Participate in safety audits, 5S programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support compliance with the Leader Safety Playbook and ISO-14001 standards
  • Assist with incident investigations and help implement corrective actions
  • Respond quickly to maintenance requests to keep operations running smoothly
  • Collaborate with Operations, ICQA, and site leadership to ensure equipment readiness
  • Help identify root causes of recurring equipment issues and recommend solutions
  • Support inventory management of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies
  • Provide technical support during peak periods, special projects, and site changes
  • Serve as a backup resource for facility maintenance across North American operations
  • Execute and track scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
  • Suggest improvements to maintenance programs, schedules, and parts usage
  • Monitor equipment performance and proactively address risks
  • Support predictive maintenance and reliability initiatives
  • Ensure maintenance compliance meets internal standards and audit requirements
  • Contribute to quality control processes and continuous improvement efforts
