Maintenance Technician
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician responsibilities will include timely completion of work orders and special projects, knowledge in HVAC, and completion of plumbing and electrical service requests. This role also involves the completion of apartment turns, including plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair/replacement. The technician will service residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner, diagnose problems and repair in the areas of electrical, and respond to all service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, the role assists in maintaining the exterior of the property daily for curb appeal, performs housekeeping duties as required, and handles snow removal during winter months. Property maintenance of pools, spas, and pool areas is also part of the responsibilities if applicable.
Requirements
- Knowledge in HVAC
- General computer knowledge
- Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 year's of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred
- Plumbing, contracting, and builders' certifications and licenses are a plus
- Availability for on-call purposes
- Flexibility and ability to work weekends when necessary
