About The Position

Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician in our Thriving Flavor Manufacturing Plant! We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to support our plant operations by maintaining, repairing, and optimizing manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and general facility upkeep. This role is crucial in ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency across our production lines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (Associate degree in a related field preferred).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting motors, gearboxes, sensors, switches, pumps, and conveyors.
  • Experience working with 110V, 208V, and 460V three-phase electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting (programming experience is a plus).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or HVAC is a plus.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure continuous operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.
  • Diagnose operational issues, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs.
  • Safely install, modify, and upgrade plant equipment as required.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery, reporting potential issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, and general building infrastructure as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to facilitate repairs.
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), Hot Work, and Electrical Safety Standards.
  • Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Provide backup support to other Maintenance Technicians when required.
