About The Position

Join Salt Fork Lodge as a Maintenance Technician on the Third Shift and enjoy a rewarding position with a beautiful view of Salt Fork State Park and Lake every day. This role offers the opportunity to work full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling. Ideal candidates will have mechanical skills and a mechanical mindset, though expert trade knowledge is not required. Some work may start as early as mid-May, with the potential for year-round employment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Possess a clean criminal background and valid driver’s license.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and third shift hours.
General mechanical knowledge with proficiency in hand or power tools.
Physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods and over long distances.
Able to lift and carry items weighing 20-60 lbs daily and repeatedly bend, reach, lift, push, crouch, kneel, stoop, and twist.

Nice To Haves

Willingness to float between 1st and 2nd shifts will be considered a plus but is not a requirement for the third shift position.

Responsibilities

Perform minor maintenance tasks for room and cabin service calls.
Conduct preventative maintenance such as changing furnace filters and replacing switches, bulbs, and other room components.
Carry out minor repairs and test equipment including HVAC and refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tile repair, painting, and appliances in a safe and timely manner.
Test and maintain pools and hot tubs.
Assist guests, management, and other departments daily with maintenance needs.
