We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to be part of our facilities department. Requirements

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, feel, or reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl; and talk; or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
  • Frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.
  • For A/C specific candidates: must prove the ability to trouble shoot refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and make the needed repairs. For example, use gages and electrical meters to determine why a unit is not working.
  • Must possess a Florida driver’s license in good standing with an acceptable official driving record.
  • Minimum High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Any combination of education, training, and work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including a thorough knowledge and related work experience in one or more of the following trades: plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and A/C.

Nice To Haves

  • EPA certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Make assigned repairs and perform assigned tasks to maintain a high state of function and operational condition of Foundation equipment and facilities, includes our commercial kitchens, buildings, and surrounding acreage.
  • Clean and paint Foundation facilities as assigned, interior and exterior.
  • Perform routine electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, refrigeration, and carpentry tasks, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, fabrication, and regular maintenance.
  • Identify and report materials needed to complete projects.
  • Document in real time work order statuses with work order management software.
  • Operate a maintenance golf cart, and company licensed motor vehicle.
  • Create a customer quality experience for members and coworkers alike.
