About The Position

Mercy Northglen Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This on-site position involves completing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment. The property is a 60-unit multifamily property located in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience.
Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).
Take direction from the supervisor.
Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions.
Flexible to change work plans.
Maintain a professional personal appearance.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.

Responsibilities

Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Cleans up after work is complete.
Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.
Other duties as assigned.
