The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of machinery and equipment within the facility. Key duties include the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance on a variety of machines, equipment, and facilities areas. Hours are 11pm-7am Use a variety of hand and power tools to ensure machines and equipment are running safely and efficiently. Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment by completing routine and scheduled preventative maintenance. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machine failures and minor electrical problems. Dismantle machinery and remove/replace defective parts. Accurately complete work orders on time. Ensure tools are clean and in working order. Advise the appropriate personnel regarding inventory of spare parts and maintenance related supplies. Utilize Fiix software to maintain accurate records and files of work performed along with materials and supplies Collaborate with supervisors and other necessary team members to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. Communicate with the management team regarding any updates on maintenance activities and equipment status. Adherence to all regulatory and company safety rules, procedures, and policies; including PPE requirements. Required to follow all LO/TO procedures. Maintain a clean and safe workspace. Must follow contamination-control cleaning guidelines. Domestic travel up to 5% of time for training and other assignments. Attend assigned training and safety sessions. Perform all other duties as assigned.
