About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across commercial and residential properties. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field, preferably in commercial or residential properties.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or within a team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Experience with basic commercial and residential repairs, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
Nice To Haves
- Any relevant safety designations or certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial and residential properties, both interior and exterior.
- Conduct basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in good condition.
- Assist with general upkeep of buildings and facilities.
- Lift and transport materials and equipment weighing 50 lbs or more.
