About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician at JLL, you'll play a vital role in keeping our client facilities running smoothly and efficiently. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities operations, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret basic equipment manuals, work orders, and safety procedures
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in varying environmental conditions
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations and work flexible hours when needed

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school training or coursework in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related discipline
  • EPA Universal certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Basic computer skills including email and data entry
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience working in commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, or institutional environments
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems according to established schedules
  • Respond to and complete work orders for minor repairs, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting of building equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections of facility systems and equipment, recording readings and reporting any abnormalities to supervisors
  • Replace consumable items such as filters, belts, bulbs, and other parts to maintain optimal system performance
  • Assist senior technicians and operating engineers with larger repair projects, equipment installations, and system upgrades
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed maintenance activities, equipment readings, and inventory usage
  • Support a safe work environment by following all safety protocols, properly storing materials, and keeping work areas clean and organized
