Maintenance Technician - San Antonio, Texas
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role is part of JCB’s effort to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates ahead of the opening of their new San Antonio manufacturing facility. By applying, candidates will be considered for future opportunities as the company moves closer to launching operations. Recruiters will begin reaching out as the startup phase approaches, and candidates should realistically be available to begin training as early as August of 2026. Timelines may shift and will depend on the readiness to safely launch the facility. Applicants will join a future talent pool, and JCB will contact them as suitable positions become available.
Requirements
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Safety-focused with strong problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Support equipment installations and upgrades
- Document maintenance activities
- Follow all safety requirements and procedures
