Maintenance Technician- My Vacation Haven
About The Position
This role is responsible for inspecting and resolving maintenance issues to ensure standards are met. The technician will conduct routine inspections, document work orders on a computer, and report any damages to the manager. Key control policies must be maintained, along with a clean and organized work area. Prompt resolution of guest complaints and effective communication with team members are essential. The role also requires adherence to federal laws, rules, and regulations, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be available to working some holidays, weekends, and work the emergency after hours schedule.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of maintenance experience preferred but not required.
- Experience within the field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly inspect any reported maintenance issues to ensure maintenance standards are met.
- Update appropriate team members of the status of each maintenance call.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections.
- Document work orders on a computer, including the results of inspections and resolution of deficiencies.
- Write work orders for larger maintenance issues.
- Inspect for any damages and immediately report to the manager.
- Maintain key control policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Promptly resolve any guest complaints or issues.
- Effectively communicate to other team members.
- Adhere to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
