Maintenance Technician - Westcott Apartments
About The Position
Pedcor Homes is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join their team at The Westcott Apartments in Tallahassee, Florida. This role is ideal for an individual who is dependable, customer-focused, and eager to contribute positively each day. The position involves completing service requests, performing apartment turns and make-readies, assisting with apartment punch work, and handling general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, drywall, and construction repairs. The role also includes maintaining the grounds and common areas, supporting larger property improvement projects, and delivering excellent customer service to residents and colleagues.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience
- Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Weekend availability required
- Flexibility to work occasional holidays as needed
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
Nice To Haves
- HVAC certification preferred
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification preferred
Responsibilities
