About The Position

We are currently seeking a qualified Level 2 Maintenance Technician for our Sunrise Mobile Home Park. In this role, you will be responsible for various property maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, groundskeeping, and completing work orders efficiently. You will work with minimal supervision and adhere to all safety regulations. This position offers a steady, reliable schedule with full-time hours and opportunities for training and growth within an inclusive and supportive company culture.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in general labor including groundskeeping, landscaping, and property management maintenance.
• 1-2 years of experience in basic residential plumbing.
• Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with working outside in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to use technology/learn technology in a basic capacity.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle (drive to different locations on the property) with a valid driver’s license.
• Specific maintenance knowledge/skills will be tested for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing work such as repairing or replacing faucets and toilets, operating a sewer cleanout auger, and diagnosing and repairing simple water leaks.
• Perform electrical work such as installing light fixtures, replacing GFCI's, understanding lightbulb wattage, working with breakers and fuses, and replacing outlets.
• Oversee the curb appeal of the community, ensuring it meets company standards, which includes picking up trash and performing groundskeeping duties like mowing, planting flowers, and weeding.
• Complete cleanouts of homes.
• Finish work orders in an efficient and timely manner.
• Read water meters for each home.
• Complete day-to-day duties with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to all safety laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular inventory checks on equipment and supplies.
• Take training classes online/virtually via a computer or tablet.
• Perform other duties as qualified and trained to do so.
