About The Position

Golden Years Homestead is seeking a dependable, entry-level Maintenance Technician. No prior maintenance experience is required, and the employer is willing to train the right candidate. The role involves helping maintain a safe and comfortable community for older adults through basic repairs, general upkeep, and outdoor-area maintenance. The schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with rotating on-call evening and weekend coverage. Pay is $14.44–$18.45 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Dependability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform hands-on tasks and outdoor work.
• No previous maintenance experience is required.

• Experience with repairs, construction, or landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Help with basic repairs and maintenance requests.
• Assist with painting, floor care, and general upkeep.
• Help maintain outdoor areas and landscaping.
• Keep tools, supplies, and work areas organized.
