About The Position

Exotec is hiring a Day Shift Maintenance Technician to oversee and maintain warehouse automation systems installed at a client site in Lyons, Georgia. The role focuses on robots, machines, and conveyors, including corrective and preventative maintenance, performance monitoring, and supporting system availability targets. The technician will work independently and with colleagues, interact with on-site clients, and assist with new system and machine installations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM, subject to operational requirements and business needs.

Requirements

• 1–5+ years of maintenance experience; robotics exposure is desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial or automated equipment.
• Highly organized, with the ability to maintain composure and quality during high-stress incidents or escalations.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with client leadership teams and de-escalate situations.
• Comfort with regular, on-site work at the client warehouse in Lyons, Georgia.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance software.
• Previous robotics experience.
• Basic SQL query knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of robots, machines, and conveyors installed by Exotec in the client's warehouse.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on systems and machines.
• Monitor installation performance.
• Work autonomously and collaboratively to maintain Exotec system availability targets of 99%.
• Interact with on-site clients to provide operations advice and perform maintenance.
• Assist with installation and deployment of new systems or machines.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and summon additional assistance as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
