Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Some building maintenance experience
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Problem-solving skills required to troubleshoot, repair, or locate sources to complete repairing of equipment
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must be a self-starter
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize on a daily basis
• Must successfully complete all agency background checks
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet Agency auto insurance requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintaining facilities in accordance with generally approved safety and maintenance standards.
• Maintenance of grounds and parking areas in accordance with generally approved safety and maintenance standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance, upkeep, janitorial duties, and repairs as needed.
• Respond to emergency calls.
• May work in adverse weather conditions.
• Travel amongst our LSS locations within Sioux Falls.
