Maintenance Technician - The Bower Apartments
About The Position
MG Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team at The Bower Apartments in Kirkland, Washington. The role involves maintaining the apartment community and providing customer-focused service. Duties include cleaning grounds, offices, and common areas; completing maintenance service requests; repairing appliances; painting; preparing apartment turnovers; and responding to emergency calls. The position includes participation in an on-call rotation. Employees must acknowledge and consent to the possibility of audio recordings during work duties.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance is preferred, ideally at a 200-unit property.
- Experience across trades, including plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning, is required.
- Customer-service-focused attitude.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Must acknowledge and consent to the possibility of audio recordings during work duties.
Responsibilities
- Clean grounds, offices, and common areas.
- Complete maintenance service requests.
- Repair appliances.
- Paint apartments and other areas as needed.
- Complete apartment turnovers.
- Take emergency calls.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
