The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing maintenance work orders, performing general maintenance on the property's exterior and interiors, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the property is well-kept.

Requirements

High School Diploma; applicable Work History.
1+ years of experience in residential property maintenance is preferred.
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and heating systems.
Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level
Exceptional communication, sales, and negotiation skills
Ability to solve problems involving residents and challenging situations
A minimum of three (3) years driving experience is required if the position will be responsible for driving or considered to be a driving role

Nice To Haves

1+ years of experience in residential property maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

Completes maintenance work orders – as assigned
Performs necessary maintenance relating to both the exterior and interiors of all buildings of the property assigned
Maintains inventory of equipment, tools, supplies, and work materials
Maintains a working knowledge of all utility sources and supply lines
General maintenance experience includes painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, mowing, plowing, etc.
Performs all phases of snow removal from all needed areas and maintains all appropriate equipment
Paints, cleans, completes maintenance items, and all other items required for the completion of the unit under renovation
Cleans all common areas and responsible for trash removal
Assesses and prioritizes all work to be performed on assigned site
Completes daily work schedules for routine maintenance duties
Notifies Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager of all problems and potential issues of concern
Ensures quality of work duties performed
Handles emergency situations that may arise; and communicates all details of the incident to the Property Manager
Special projects and other responsibilities may be determined
Will be available for on-call as necessary
Maintains a professional and courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
Actively participates and follows the safety and health programs
