About The Position

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician on 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, to inspect, repair and maintain, in a safe, efficient, timely, cost-effective, and practical manner various types of forklifts, material handling equipment, and production machinery. In this role you will focus on performing necessary service, preventative maintenance, repairs, replacements, installations, or rebuilding of components to restore equipment to proper operation. You will expertly analyze and diagnose equipment problems and/or breakdowns using repair manuals, parts manuals and parts diagrams and computer diagnostics to troubleshoot engines, engine fuel systems, transmissions or other components on the equipment. You will use hand and power tools to remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair, drain fluids, assemble equipment, clean and test parts/equipment on engines, engine fuel systems, transmissions and other components. You will also replace pumps, batteries, radiators, bearings, seals, wiring, fuel lines, nozzles, test float valves, alternators and plugs.

Requirements

• Factory training and certification in diagnostic software
• Must be able to work with hand, pneumatic and power tools as well as welding equipment
• Ability to follow oral and written communication from supervisor and work independently

Nice To Haves

• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience
