About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician at Conifer Realty, you will play a vital role in keeping communities comfortable, safe, and well-cared for. This position involves performing routine and preventative maintenance, responding to work orders promptly, and contributing to the overall well-being of residents. The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus paid over the first year of employment and is a full-time position with a set schedule, though flexibility for overtime and on-call rotations is required.

Requirements

2+ years of apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance experience (painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring; HVAC experience a plus).
A high school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
Reliable transportation and flexibility to cover overtime or nearby communities when needed.
Basic computer or mobile-app skills for work orders, timekeeping, and training.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and cleaning.
Maintain curb appeal through landscaping, snow/ice removal, and seasonal upkeep.
Complete work orders promptly and rotate for emergency on-call coverage (respond within 30 minutes).
Follow all safety, property, and inspection standards with precision.
Work closely with peers and residents, showing empathy and pride in every repair.
