About The Position

The Hiltons on Canyon, a newly crafted urban retreat in Boulder, Colorado, is seeking a dependable, hands-on, and motivated Maintenance Technician to join their Engineering / Maintenance team. This role offers a great opportunity for individuals with experience in hotel, apartment, facilities, construction, or general maintenance. The position involves assisting with guest room repairs, preventative maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, and painting, HVAC and mechanical troubleshooting, and general building upkeep, while responding to guest maintenance requests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous hotel, apartment, facilities, construction, or general maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using radios, completing work orders, and maintaining logs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the property during shifts
• Ability to lift and carry maintenance equipment and supplies as needed
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders when needed

Nice To Haves

• Hotel maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for snow removal equipment and company vehicle use

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest and hotel maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and equipment troubleshooting
• Help maintain guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, laundry, and back-of-house areas
• Complete daily work orders and document repairs completed
• Perform routine property walks to ensure the hotel remains safe and well maintained
• Communicate with team members by radio throughout the shift
• Respond appropriately to emergency or safety situations when needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Report unsafe conditions or repair concerns to leadership
