About The Position

This position is responsible for the electro/mechanical maintenance of products and machines to support current production lines and/or sales orders. Technicians will be crossed trained between product lines and must follow all operator instructions along with strict adherence to the Quality System.

Requirements

High School Diplomaor GED
Mustbe 18 years orolder.
Highly self-motivated to achieve department goals and beyond.
Able to listen, digest and execute.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability towriteroutine reports and correspondence.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well withina teamenvironment.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply commonsenseunderstanding to carry out instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

Install,repair,andmaintainplant equipment to ensure proper operation andoptimumup-time.
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines.
Plans, coordinates, and directs manufacturing equipment improvements, moderately complex installations, and no routinemaintenance.
Monitors,maintains, and repairsCNC machinery, plant equipment,toolsand systems used in manufacturing,engineering,and other productionprocesses.
Investigates breakdowns related to extended downtime and maintenance system failures and creates solutions to improveefficiency.
Responsible formaintaining ofrobustPMand TPM processes.
Define maintenance systems and standards for allareas.
May provide guidance to less seniortechnicians.
Participates in regularly scheduled teammeetings.
Will perform other duties asassigned.
Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and engineering specifications,troubleshootequipment malfunctions.
Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand/powertools,examining form and texture of parts. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Proper use of welding and cutting equipment related to all phases of metal fabrication and repair.
Determinechanges in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting usedparts,using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Ability to repair and troubleshoot equipment and control circuits if needed.
Compilefulllist of materials needed and/or used for each repair,fabrication,or installation assignment.
Maintaina safeand clean working environment bycomplying withprocedures,rules,and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned bysupervisor ininstalling, fabricating, or repairing asdeemednecessary.
Minimumbasic HVAC troubleshooting & repair.
Adhere to guidelines and procedures to ensure the safe handling, removal, and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Any other duties assigned.
