This role is responsible for performing repairs and diagnosing issues with forklifts and various manufacturing equipment to ensure machinery is available to support production operations. The technician will troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic production equipment, respond to service requests, and document actions. General building maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry, is also part of the role. The technician will design and fabricate parts and safety systems, complete preventive maintenance, manage spare parts inventory, conduct inspections, and purchase tools and equipment. Additionally, the role involves reviewing waste manifests, maintaining certifications in First Aid, CPR/AED, NFPA 70E Arc Flash Safety, SWPPP programs, and DOT Hazardous Materials Handling.
