About The Position

Common Man Roadside is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support its restaurants and general stores across eight New Hampshire locations, with more locations planned. The role is responsible for maintaining the overall safety and appearance of the properties and requires travel between locations in a company vehicle. This is a full-time position, with work on weekdays and weekends as required. The stated pay rate is $27–$30 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Basic carpentry, painting, and drywall repair skills.
• Experience in trades including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and write repair orders.
• Ability to provide a positive customer service experience.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees and/or customers.
• Attention to detail to complete jobs to an exemplary standard and notice potential hazards or warning signs of problems.
• Physical stamina to remain active and work on the building for a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive work orders and provide solutions for each task.
• Respond to work orders involving minor plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration needs.
• Perform gasoline island repairs; training is provided.
• Drive a pickup truck with a trailer attached.
• Mitigate hazards and promote a safety-oriented culture.
• Remove snow, including plowing, hand shoveling, and salting or sanding walkways.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
