About The Position

The Avalon of Lewis Center is recruiting for a hospitality focused Maintenance Technician to join our team! The Maintenance Tech assists in the day-to-day functions of the Plant Operations Department such as waste management, security, supply stocking, grounds-keeping and floor care. Join us for open interviews every Wednesday 10a-12p and every Saturday and Sunday 10a-12p!!

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Proficiency in the English language enabling the employee to read, write, comprehend and communicate simple instructions, correspondence, memos, etc.
Lift and push up to 50lbs. with assistance occassionally

Responsibilities

Performs routine preventative maintenance, as directed by supervisor.
Moves furniture, equipment, and assists residents with moving needs as assigned.
Performs work orders as assigned, including minor building and equipment repairs.
