Requirements

High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician working in an Industrial Facility.
Extensive knowledge of welding, carpentry, repair of electrical and mechanical equipment as well as installation of new equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
Perform minor plumbing, carpentry and masonry work.
Prepares the surfaces and paints various structures and equipment to preserve wood and metals parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable work environment.
Keep records of all the day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken in the facility.
Maintain Inventory for spare parts.
Practice good housekeeping by cleaning up area after repairs are completed.
Comply with all corporate policies relating to health and safety while carrying out maintenance functions.
